Membership

The Chicago Classical Guitar Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to the classical guitar. The society serves as a means of communication among guitarists throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest. CCGS publishes a newsletter Chicago Guitar, and sponsors recitals, master classes, showcase concerts, evaluated recitals, lectures, and other events on topics of interest to classical guitarists. Membership is available to anyone interested in the guitar. Membership benefits include free participation in our Evaluated Recitals, advance notice of concerts and other guitar events in the Chicago area and elsewhere, a subscription to our newsletter Chicago Guitar, and entrance to special events. Membership begins in September each year.
